”Re-describing them, making them new and therefore poignant to the audience and not simply overlooked. I want to create art like this, where I can use the others-focused leadership I have learned in conjunction with the artist that I am to create art that reawakens the viewer to what they are seeing and serves as a gift to them. This is a concept that I fear is overlooked in society and tossed away to the preferred form of and motivation for self expression. I have personally felt that there is a sense of unfulfillment when creating something resulting from the need for self fulfillment. I see the re-igniting of this type of artful, purposeful giving as a way to represent and demonstrate leadership. A leadership where I use my art to express generous truths and provide a thoughtful, responsive gift to the viewer.”
